MVC with reported Rescue

Alerted for MVC prior to response upgraded to a rescue. Upon arrival found to be no entrapment however box truck on its side and a second vehicle with extensive front end damage. @ persons transported to PRMC with non-life threatening injuries. Rescue Engine 906, PM B 9, PM B 5 and Ladder 5 responded. Due to location of vehicles it was necessary to shut down lane 1 in both west bound and east bound directions. Fire Police from both Sta 9 and Sta 5 diverted traffic to secure the scene until tow companies could remove vehicles.
